PADASA’s mindfulness meditation is a practice that does not block perceptions or sensations. We offer sound and safe meditation classes, having learned meditation instruction methods on internationally trusted platforms. Mindfulness meditation is the practice of reconnecting the mind and body to the ‘present moment’ and experiencing harmony, thereby regaining your natural composure.
Participants sit on a meditation cushion called a ‘Zafu,’ but can also sit in a chair or in a supported kneeling position(seiza), making it accessible for those with knee or lower back concerns.
Mindfulness meditation, when practiced consistently, strengthens the “muscles of the mind,” fostering insight, mental resilience, and calmness. However, just like physical muscle training, if you don’t continue, your mental strength will also decline.
Mindfulness meditation starts with sitting for 15 to 20 minutes.Just 20 minutes? Anyone with meditation experience knows how difficult it is to continue that 20 minutes every day.80% of the effort spent on meditation lies in ‘consistency.
The most difficult part of meditation is making “20 minutes a day, every day” a habit. And clearly seeing why it doesn’t continue is also part of the practice.
